Re: IBEW Rattlesnake Motorcycle Run
Dear Sisters and Brothers:
Our annual IBEW Motorcycle Ride will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2013,
at 10:00 a.m. in State College, Pennsylvania. We are calling this year’s ride The IBEW
Rattlesnake Run. Last year we rode through the beautiful state of West Virginia; this
year we will ride through the mountains and forests in the surrounding area of State
College, Pennsylvania. The area is very well known for the rattlesnake roundups held
each year.
The registration fee is $25.00 per participant. You may register online by
visiting www.ibew.org and clicking on IBEW Rattlesnake Run. You may want to
register early as we may have to limit the number of riders in order to have a safe ride.
The IBEW Rattlesnake Run sign-in will be held Friday, July 26th, from 1:00 to
6:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 27th, from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at The Penn Stater Conference
Center Hotel located at 215 Innovation Boulevard, State College, Pennsylvania. The
Penn Stater will serve as the starting point of the ride.
Please contact The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel to secure your room
reservations by calling 800-233-7505 and give the operator our Group Code-IBEG13A
or on their secure web site at www.pshs.su.edu. The IBEW has a block of rooms
available on a first-come, first-served basis with a cut-off date of June 25, 2013. The
room rate is $89.00 per night. Updates on the ride will be posted on www.ibew.org and
www.ibewhourpower.com.
With best wishes, I am
Fraternally yours,
